How Our Network Works
Talk to a provider

Who you talk to
You talk to an independent concrete provider from our network. That person runs their own business. They know the local soil, the weather and the usual permit steps. Fingerspeoples Concrete makes the introduction, then steps back.
What happens on the call
Expect plain questions. They are short on purpose. A provider will usually ask:
- Where is the project, and what is there now?
- What size are you thinking?
- Is it a driveway, a patio or a stamped finish?
- What timing works for your household?
Have photos handy. A rough sketch helps too. Then the provider may offer a visit to measure and look at drainage. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to ask an independent provider
Ask these before you agree to anything:
- Is the quote in writing, with scope and materials listed?
- What base prep and thickness do you plan for?
- How will you handle drainage and control joints?
- How long will the driveway or patio be off limits?
- Where can I park during the work?
- Who handles permits, if needed?
- Can I see photos of similar jobs?
- What do you need from me before the start date?
These questions matter more in freeze-thaw country. Slabs shift when the ground moves.
You are in control
You can say no. You can ask for a second quote. You can ask the provider to change the timing around school runs or a family event. A request through Fingerspeoples Concrete does not lock you into anything.
Keep a paper trail
Save the quote. Save the photos. Write down what was said and when. If the job ever needs an insurance conversation, those records help. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
